We do not have to get permission.

im well aware we dont need permission. wait, any second now someone will pop in and reference the vandy game like the rules are the same now as they were back then.

Didn't Spurrier refuse to let LSU wear white during his final year(s) at Florida, and so in return, the crowd had a white out game?

Seems to me what he actually did was reserved the right to have Florida wear white on LSU's return trip the next year. So, we were those yellow jerseys in Gainesville (1998), and got beat in a relatively close game....we dropped a BUNCH of interceptions that game...we could have won....

Spurrier did it to us too in '95, I think.
No, the ole ball coach just talked about it...but didn't make LSU wear purple.
The deal is SUPPOSED TO BE that LSU wears purple for non conference home games. But as has been pointed out...ther have been recent exceptions to this.

it used to be that we wore purple for non conference games EXCEPT the opening game. that was the way we did it under Saban, and Miles had no problem with it.
i guess we wore white against VT last season because of the national attention . I dont know why we wore whites against UNT. I guess Miles is changing it up.
