He has not been horrible but those Flynn/Mauck comparisons you see are way off base.
Tell that to LSU's coaching staff.
They are the main ones who made the Jefferson/Flynn comparison.

You realize how much Lee was allowed to screw up before he was pulled last year, right?
Maybe if Jefferson attempted to learn more of the play book he would have gotten in some earlier games an Lee could have sat out a series here and there.

Lee will be bored every game he plays in
Jefferson will be bored first game he struggles in
I kinda want my QB to be a little excited to play at least...

Wow.
What an outrageous ASSumption.
And why do you ASSume JJ didn't know the playbook?
What could you possibly base that on?

I guess you conveniently "forgot" Lee was already on the team a year before JJ was signed.
Yet even with a full year head start to learn that same playbook, Lee still wasn't able to hold onto his starting job.
Hmmmm

Because he said so himself? That he did not know all of the playbook when he came in against Ole Miss and Arkansas. That he was playing on ability and instincts. Hell he was scout squad before season he was not required to learn the playbook till Hatch got hurt.
Man where have you been

Go back to a two quarterback system like McClendon had. Start JJ and play JL a few series. Force the defenses to prepare for two QBs.

Got to stick with JJ...JL is a viable option in case of injury or change of pace....RS inserted when needed, especially 3rd downs...CG is the future....
