So LES should NOT suspend him????

No, he shouldn't. This isn't HS ball. This is a football program that is its own multi-million dollar business. Not to mention it pays the nearly $4m salary Les receives every year.

The same idiots who are wanting Les to suspend these kids will be the same ones calling for his head if he goes 8-4 (or worse) without them.

These things have to be looked at on a sliding scale. The more the team needs them, the more leniency they will get in situations like this.

If he is booked on a felony, he needs at the very least to be suspended for the first 3-5 games. I remember when Ohio state let those guys play in the sugar bowl, I though it was the biggest crock of shite I have ever heard. The last thing I want is for that to be us.

I hope miles shows what a class act he is, football isn't everything, I would hate to see us deal with the devil.

You are correct it is the way of the world. We tolerated Perriloux time and time again. That situation came back to bite us in the butt. When you start allowing players to think they are bigger than the program you have Ryan Perriloux. If Les goes down that road there will be consequences for the program. JJ and any player on this team are not bigger than the LSU football program regardless of what anyone says.

If nothing comes from this (from a legal side) then Miles isn't forced to do anything. Miles will do what he has to do, not what is "right" or fair.

just to reiterate; it's ALWAYS been that way at LSU under EVERY head coach. It's nothing new.
