Whoever is the best route runner, picks up the offense and catches the ball. You have to remember that it was late in his freshman year before Chase started playing really good.
Very difficult for a freshman receiver coming in to produce immediately. They are used to being so much better than whoever was guarding them, that their route running didn't have to be great.

Agree. Very rare to have a true freshman come in and start game one in the SEC. It takes a unique talent and a WR being more polished at a young age, with maturity both physically and mentally.
I DO agree with CEO that times are changing and that more WR's are coming in being closer to being ready to contribute due to more of the better athletes playing WR, more high schools using spread offenses/passing games, more 7 on 7 year round work, etc.

They struggled in 2020, but that's because there wasn't enough time to implement the summer of 10,000 catches because of the Covid Pandemic.
True, but some of the receivers, Palmer, Jenkins and Kirkland were here in 2019. They should have been ready.
Boutte, true freshman, passed them.

Nabors reminds me of Jamar Chase. I think he will be the best of all of them. Remember he didn't play his Senior season!
