So many CEH answers. It’s crazy that after the first 3 weeks most of the people here wanted him to sit the bench.

Shelvin was a boy dog this year. Played more snaps than I thought he'd be able to as well.

I thought Burrow would be good, and he would have a 2013 Mett season after the Fiesta bowl. The rest is history.
The player who surprised me the most was definitely CEH. We have had just a history of solid running backs, and I thought he was a finesse guy. Carrying the entire Bama D-Line says he is also a “power guy”

For me, it’s CEH and Queen. I had no expectation for what CEH did. One of the greatest LSU RB seasons I’ve ever seen. His spin move to the left corner of the end zone against bama alone was absolutely legendary.
Queen....man, that dude turned it on late in the year. I can’t remember seeing somebody go from a part-time player at midseason to a possible first rounder quite like he did. And deservedly so.
I could watch CEH and Queen highlight tapes forever.

Burrow has to be clear #1. Nobody could have expected what he accomplished. 60 TDs!!! I felt pretty good about our offense going in to the year, but was worried about our Oline and the number of receiver drops we had the previous year. With those concerns, you would think the biggest surprise would come from one of those groups, but what Burrow did was just amazing.
Honorable mentions to CEH, Cush, and Moss.
