My, oh my. How quickly USL fans forget.
Even the little brother gets a shot on his big brother every now and then. But when he does, he takes off running, because he knows when big brother stands back up, that little bros arse is grass. So keep on running and giggling, UL-L, cause big bro will see you again in the Baton Rouge regionals.

ULL has a top-15 program over the last 2-3 decades
LSU has the top program over the last 2-3 decades
In baseball, one game means one game
In baseball, pitching matters more than anything, so the matchup plays a huge role in the outcome. 1 person can help a whole team in a major way
ULL in any given year could be dead even as team as LSU
This could be such a year.
All that matters this year is this years team.
So, ULL an LSU are both legit top-10 teams, and that is a good thing.
That about sums it up.

I'm a Cajuns fan and even I'll admit we aren't even close to a perennial top 15 team lol.
I'd say a more accurate statement is that we are a perennial top 40 club and every now and then a top 25 club. We've only been ranked in the top 10 one season before and that was in 2000 when we started something like 25-1, also the year we went to CWS. But we were as high as #6 that year.
