Not sure if we would've moved up any higher past an undefeated Clemson and Notre Dame?

We're in a great spot. Just keep winning and we're in.

Probably #2 because of the quality of wins. But, yes, we just need to win to get in now.

The main thing beating FL would have kept in play is the Bama mulligan. We probably don’t get the same benefit that they do and they probably won’t lose the SECCG in that scenario, but it would be nice to still have that opinion.

#2.

shite with our resume we should probably be #1 if that were the case, but Bama passes the “eye test” even though they’ve played no one so we wouldn’t

Um if LSU beat Florida as the OP stated LSU would be a no loss team

If we didn't lose to Florida wouldn't be one loss, we would have been #4, ahead of ND, when we beat #2 Georgia. We may have jumped Clemson after that on resume. We'd be #3 with no losses almost guaranteed.

I think we would have been ranked #2 if not for the loss to Florida.

We would be #2 with a decent share of First Place votes. Bama still hasn't really played anyone except aTm, yet.

The fact they've been so dominant against everyone still makes them subjectively #1 if we're undefeated (and most pollsters would vote that way), but objectively we would have been #1 if he we had beaten Florida.
