We play better without him, if we are being honest.

I wouldn’t go that far

Nursing an injury might actually help reign him in a little and get his shot selection more balance

Even if he's more of a spot player I agree he will definitely be needed down the stretch to keep our Guards fresh

I think Cook makes the team better but Ward playing more minutes and having a bigger role is 100% a good thing for us

There were a couple of spots last night where Cook would have helped offensively. He may have had the mentality that this team needed him to win. That has gone by he wayside. I would have never thought they could win games like this without him. Kudos to Mcmahon. Hopefully the time off and watching what they are doing will motivate him to be a better defender and take care of the ball better and take better shots. If he just does those 3 things he will help this team reach levels no one thought they would.

He was questionable for the past few days. I believe McMahon said they would test it out in practice on Tuesday, then again before the game to see if he would be able to go. I say let him rest up until he’s 100%. We will need fresh legs around SEC Tourney time. A run there could make a difference in our post-season selection.
