Les Miles hates white people... or at least QB's

No, the stupid ones are those who actually believe that we need a mobile QB to win.
We found out that running, if you don't make good decisions can be a negative in some cases. It doesn't have to be that way though. I will take a very good passing QB over a mediocre dual threat any day.

and my point is that if Randall can't pass well, then he's not gonna play.
By all accounts he can. Rivers is so skinny he might break in half and his throwing motion looks like his brothers without the all-world accuracy.
Why do you assume Rivers will beat our Randall? Any reason other than who is big brother is?

Randall is a legit passer as well. If he's better than rivers, which is a possibility, that's who needs to play
And we have it. 2012 QB controversy...

I'm just defending Randall against all the idiots who immediately associate him with JJ as soon as they see "athletic, black QB" without ever seeing the kid play
Also a lot of idiots who completely discount Rivers without seeing him play simply because he's skinny. I don't think it matters a whole lot going forward, but he was ahead of Randall on the depth chart this year.

He's the back up
2nd string
2nd string

He fits in an Oregon or Georgia Tech offense. No more 2 qb system please.

He is going to see PT way before Rivers.
Yep
Wouldn't surprise me.

Anybody find it ironic that Scout has accuracy and decision making as Rivers' area of concern yet no one says he's another JJ?
Another JJ???? except with no mobility
Another JJ???? except with no mobility

Randall was better as a HS senior than Jefferson was as a college senior simply because he is physically 100x better. He is lightyears better as a passer. He has good mechanics and the best arm on the team. He is also much faster and shiftier than JJ. The only thing JJ had on him was his height and his ability to make a pouty face after bad throws. People comparing them are ignorant dumbasses. Just watch his youtube highlights and you will see what we are talking about. No one has said we need him to win, just defending the guy from moronic LSU fans that lump him together with JJ.
Tyrod Taylor was a good comparison I think.
Just cause I use J.J. to compare the guy does not mean I am lumping him together. Every player is different. In stating that he was like Jefferson but probably better was my way of saying Scout.com says he has the same skill set that Jefferson possessed with his strengths and weaknesses. I agree I should have used Tyrod Taylor. Didn't think I'd cause a stir with so many that are butt hurt with me using Jefferson as a comparison. J.J. played at LSU so I guess that's why I used him.

Even though Rivers is tall, he has a little bit of mobility. Basketball player as well.
Nothing like Randall though.

"They" are those who are negative towards the kid before he plays a down.

Rivers has the same weaknesses.

Obviously. The point is people should wait before they play a snap before they discount either.

2nd String QB controversy at that. I don't think anyone is saying he'll be the starter. Well I take that back someone did.

I agree.
But people need to realize that Randall isn't changing position anytime soon and that he has a way better shot of seeing PT over Rivers. Just because he is a dual threat people get queezy because of thoughts of JJ. He is very, very good. He was far more heralded as a recruit than Rivers even with Rivers' last name.

Think of Jordan Jefferson, but probably better.
You could have left out the second part. You couldn't get any worse than Jefferson.

I allude to this in some of my post and I'm not discounting either. I want to see each of them get some PT to see how they do.
