Miles is a damn good coach, but not the best
Wow, what a change for you.
Don't I recall you saying just last season that LSU had a coach that can't coach and now he's "damn good".
Miles might have only one SEC title, LSU coaching has averaged an SEC title every 8 seasons, but LSU under Miles has more 11 wins seasons and more Top 8 finishes than any school in the SEC since 2005.
Not to mention Miles has 4 times more 11 win seasons than any coach in LSU history and the best OOC record in LSU history.
All done during a LSU career when the SEC is/was the best/deepest conference ever as indicated by 5 BCSNC since 2005 won by 4 different programs.
Ranking coaches is kinda personal opinion, but I don't see how he is not at least Top 5 if you go off results.

Number 1..... He loves LSU wins and the players love playing for him. We are blessed to have him!

Where do you rank Les Miles as a head coach?
1. Saban
2. Miles
3. Petersen[BOISE]
4. Patterson[TCU]
5. Stoops.

What has stoops done lately? I'd take Mack Brown over him.
Let's see now. Texas had a horrible season last year and got destroyed by UCLA in Austin.
Oklahoma has represented the Big XII South in 8 of the last 11 conference championship games including 4 of the last 5.
Stoops has 1 national title, same as Mack Brown but Oklahoma has been to twice as many BCS games under Stoops.
I'd say Stoops is doing just fine.

How the frick do some of you rank Miles as the number 1 coach, when he has only won just one sec title.
