Unless those dudes just inherently know how to defend without any apparent input whatsoever from the coaching staff it won’t matter

Wade got screwed by Alleva and the BOS last year.
Cost us at least 2 recruits that would have helped.

Just imagine this team with someone like Quinones and Dante... would make us way deeper and probably better

Is this the excuse we’re still going with? Look, would LSU love to have a deeper roster? Absolutely. But this roster is still has enough talent to be much better than one of the 3 or 4 worst defensive teams in of ALL major conference teams. This group clearly doesn’t give a shite AT ALL about truly defending.
Being just an average defensive team? Fine. We have a great offense
But being THIS bad is completely inexcusable. Statistically the ONLY worse defensive team in the last (almost) 20 years is the group in Jones’s final year that completely quit.

We are making the tournament. Couldn't say that 3 years ago. I'm happy.
