Do you think having an elite coach helps a program generate revenue? I'd imagine it does. When LSU spends to get a real coach, we will see a significant increase in revenue

Why? Why can't you just buy a ticket go sit in the goddmmned seat and cheer your lungs out for the Tigers. Watch the game down on the field. Focus on the game thats whats happening. You need nothing else
keep fighting that fight Joe.

Nothing about watching a football game on Saturday is a need

Obviously you haven’t been on campus and didn’t see the south end of the stadium. They had more construction equipment than the streets of China for the last 10 years.

My seats have been in the south end zone for over 30 years. When they completed removing the dormitories I literally got lost trying to find my seats. If you haven’t been to a game in say the last 5 or 6 years, you don’t know what you are talking about.
That said, there is certainly more they can do. I would think replacing seats would be a priority among other things.

The restrooms and concessions renovations are desperately needed. Don't need more seats, they just need to make whats there better and more convenient for fans. In the money grab that is LSU athletics the sale of beer would be a homerun.

First...Alleva better be kissing Will Wade’s butt and spending $$$ on any basketball facility upgrades he wants. We’ve been working on T.S. for awhile now it seems.

Yep, $22M more. That’s a lot of TV’s

and the contractor that swapped the old CRTs out is now stuck with them since they contain mercury and lead and can't be thrown away.

I wish we had a location with more room surrounding the stadium. The atrium area at Lambeau Field would be an awesome addition to Tiger Stadium.

Just imagine A/C with places to buy beer

Updating Tiger Stadium is probably one of the few things Joe has done a decent job at. Replaced all the broken windows, resurfaced the outside, added the lights outside, made the sidewalk area nice, south endzone expansion, replaced TVs and are remodeling bathrooms.

I have to say, when the SEZ plans were announced with the addition of the elevator space to get into the suites, I halfway hoped that the area would be used like an atrium. There's absolutely nothing in that monstrosity of windows and giant gray wall. This space, by itself could be used as a multi-level bar where fans could go during the game and purchase drinks and watch the game. Similar to the smokings balconies in NRG stadium.

I didn't say that it should be done tomorrow. Haha, just a thought for long-term use. At least try to make some money off having all that space.

Outside of the concessions and alcohol sales in the stadium, I don’t know what I’d do to it. Maybe make the concourses a little wider? Retractable dome? Make the white pvc pipe great again?

Bama putting in a 12K sqft recruiting deck at BDS. I think it will have 2 stripper poles as well.

With the news that Bama just approved a $600 million spending package focusing primarily on Bryant Denny (Already a modern venue), when will we get an athletic director with enough cajones to go all in on facilities and personnel? TS is an amazing venue but desperately needs to be brought into the 21st century

New JumboTron will reduce the number of seats. That is part of the plan.

LSU will do the same also.

BETTER CONCESSIONS is now the # 1 need. I really believe thought getting Aramark was a good decision, BUT CONCESSIONS SUCKED last year!!

And of course if the SEC would get off their arse:
