Kinda like that Miami RB still fighting for the extra yards on 3rd down against Ga Tech last night, right

Exactly.... while the game was essentially over... scoring there gave them a chance to do something. Going down as soon as you make the int gives them no chance. Can't fault burns for wanting the pick 6 and also can't fault Kelly for coaching after.

That was a whole other cluster truck. Less Cristobal just had to have his team TAKE A KNEE and the clock runs out to secure the win. They don't do that, and they get beat.

In a MUCH MORE unlikely scenario (key words people), the Burns play could have resulted in an unnecessary loss also. I've been an Eagles fan my whole life as well as LSU. I remember OT John Runyan literally picking up Lesean McCoy and planting him on the ground at the 2 yard line when he was about to score in a scenario similar to Burns yesterday, allowing Philly to burn the clock and end it.

Do we really even know if Kelly said that to Burns? Or is it just rant babbling that has now turned into “fact”.

Burns scoring was the only way Missouri could still have even a remote shot at the end. BK was right. You are wrong.

There is no way in hell that Burns wasn’t taking that one in to clinch the game.

That's the problem....
It did not clinch the game.
If he takes a knee, THAT clinches the game.

While I watching I was hoping Burns would start running parallel to the goal line and run a few more seconds off the clock then hop into the endzone.
