i follow chandler rome on twitter. he seems like a pretty level headed guy.

he took a stance and backed it up with what he observed.

i don't have a problem with it.

this isn't a troll job like mandel and gregggggg. he's basically saying others have come off more contrite than hill has. he's just giving you his opinion on hill based on what he saw and heard.

You realize every other SEC school besides 1-2 has had more arrests and off the field issues than LSU?
LSU falls in lower half of SEC arrest last 3 years

way to leave out 3 teams had 5 while we had 6.

All of the teams at the top had anywhere from 9-17

Maybe when we start doing positive things off the field also,we'll start getting positive press.

Never said anything about other schools not having issues with their players..Bama has 4 players that got in trouble during the off season...do I really have to list all the other schools to justify what I said? Since when has college sports become a contest on whose school has a lower arrest rate than another? I don't give a crap about the other schools I'm tired off seeing the LSU athletes on the negative side of the news, never used to be that way, what has changed?

Ohhh so elite college-aged athletes were always beacons of civilization, huh?

How fricking ignorant are you?

I guess never was the wrong word there,I should have said it's happening more frequently in recent years than in past years, guess some of you are ok with LSU players having arrest records..wow...times have changed...I for one expect better behavior from the athletes, maybe my expectations are too high...

Jesus, dude. Get off your high horse. And way to put words in my mouth, as well.

I'm not "OK" with it, but I'm also not oblivious to the fact that when you get a group of 100+ college-aged elite athletes who have been told throughout their lives that they're God's gift to the earth and unleash them on a college campus, some shite is going to go down. It's just a pure statistical fact.

And no, players aren't worse now, they're just under a way bigger microscope. Not to mention the fact that everyone has a camera in their pocket with video capablities now. Of course I would love for every player to be a model student and citize, but that won't happen in a football team or in any 100-person cross-section of LSU student body.
