When OU smokes ND, will they jump us as best 1-loss team?

They are looking much stronger than us.

As much as I hate to admit it, OU is the team I would not want to play the most right now.

I think they bring ND back down to earth and pass us in the polls.

However, as long as we beat #1 Bama, and finish the season without upset, meaning we probably then get a re-match with a then #1 Florida - giving us the potential to play and beat 2 #1 teams down the stretch, we will still retain the lead 1-loss team chance to make it to Miami.

Let's hope ND and Kansas State go down along the way, which I think they will...

It won't matter. OU will lose another game this season.

They will likely lose another game or two this year, they do have Landry Jones at QB after all.

If OU and LSU win out and the top 5 lose, we will see you in Miami.

Much better chance of LSU losing 2 more times than OU. Based on schedule alone.

It will not matter if LSU wins out, but they will not win out in all reasonable likelihood.

The best thing about being in the SEC is that we don't have to worry about these questions. Even with one loss, if we win out the remainder of our games we go to a national championship.

Not sure OU will beat ND, sorry. They are playing sound defense.
Much worse threats for LSU's chances are Kstate (who plays no one the rest of the way) and Oregon who may also be undefeated.
LSU beats BAMA but gets locked out of the NC because Kstate and Ore are undefeated? I think it could happen.

Well considering we will be on bye next week and wont get any points they most likely would. If we beat Bama, we go ahead of them. No doubt about it.

Who have they played? Playing sound defense against Michigan State and BYU really only impresses ESPN analysts.

probably....and if they smoke that defense they will clearly have earned it. the stoops brothers are on a roll and if you watched any of their demolition of the horns you would know they are legit. of course there is that Kansas St thing going on.

LSU would beat OU. Wouldnt be pretty ecause it never is, but LSU has shut down much better quarterbacks that Landry Jones
