I have nothing to offer to this thread, but I'd like to use it as an excuse to post this gif again

Gotta love the reactions from the players on the sideline and bench. BTJ (I think) with his hands covering his mouth like Jackson just killed a man

Look it was a great run, but you can tell he’s still a freshman. I’ve seen some dumb decisions but I’ve never seen a player stand over and taunt another player while still carrying the ball. They chewed his arse out for it too. He just stopped running during the middle of the play

I don’t think that is what really happened though I admit I can see why people can say that( ultimately it’s a cooler story). In reality, He got the way best in the hit but his momentum got stopped and it stood him up a little. That split second delay and he is hit again.

Not sure but it should happen multiple times a season instead of once every 3 years. Our RBs have not been close to LSU level. Let's hope KJ and Co. are changing that trend.

Agreed, That’s what had me thinking. Outside of the TDP Florida game which was awesome but was like in a bizarro world type situation, we haven’t seen that in the running game in a minute. Not shitting on any of the guys, I love Josh Williams but we’ve been missing that next level back for a minute.

We haven’t had the same level of backs for the last 3 years, but our recent O Lines haven’t helped with this, either. They have been pretty rough since 2020 and we’re only now starting to come out of it. We are relying on 3 sophomores and occasionally another true freshman and they still look like it at times. But I would bet they are starting to really gel and crack some skulls by mid-season.

I think Diggs and Jackson are both going to have some big games going forward.

How do yall not understand how momentum works? Look up Newtons First Law of Motion. It was a big shot that stopped his momentum and stood him up. He didn't stand over him and taunt him. It just so happened that he put the kid on his arse right in front of him. There was literally no other place for him to be but right on top of him. Then he was immediately hit again on the sideline. You can even see he tried to keep going.

This is one yall need to let go.
