Way before the Bear was coach.

Up through 2008 I was indifferent about them. Theame where Patrick Peterson intercepted that ball in 2009 I believe is where my feelings started to change. In 2011, is when my view of them turned to a new level with their mulligan. If it wasn't for that mulligan, there would still be disliked, but it would be nowhere near the antipathy I have towards them now.
I put bama almost in the same class as ISIS and these devout muslims killing for allah.

Never hated Bama. I am a proud Southerner and like our dominance in football.
However there is no other team I like to beat the sh!t out of more than them!

In the 70's when Cholly Mac couldn't beat the Bear even once. Bryant signed players he never intended to play just to keep them off other teams and cut them at the end of their first year. It's why Georgia Tech left the SEC.
Bama fans are the most delusional, cult like in college football. It's as if the entire SEC exists for the privilege to play them. Really astonishing when you think about it.

I was born into that shite! Grandfather moved from Tuscaloosa to Baton Rouge to build a sawmill right as my father was starting his senior year of high school. Father stayed & went to LSU; grandfather moved back to Alabama when his business was done.
Had a 2nd cousin who played for 'Bama; family gatherings were always half-Alabama/half-LSU. Thank God I landed on the right side of the argument!
