They looked great until their first conference road test against Texas. They looked great with 2 series sweeps, including at OU, then got swept at Auburn. They followed that with 2 Top 15 series wins at home before a poor performance at A&M. Then they turned around and beat Arkansas at home. I’m not really sure how you discern a peak from that up and down (primarily driven by home vs road).

It’s a game of numbers gathered covered many weeks. The story is never complete until the seasons over. Home rules for this bunch .Let it play out and accept the results .

They always peak at home. On the road, we’re on the other side of that

Don’t think this team has peaked at all, not many games especially consecutive games where I can see the hitting and pitching being both elite in the same game. It’s why I’m very optimistic about this postseason.

Yep. Fortunately they’ve done enough work to play at home in the postseason. Facing some non-conference pitching will help get the confidence back up. Hopefully that kick starts an offensive tear that ends very late in Omaha
