In the 60's I remember my Dad leaning over the old Victrola trying to hear the game through the static on AM radio. I was hooked then. Great memory.

I was born into it. My entire family and extended family is batshit crazy LSU fans. I went to every single LSU sporting event growing up from football, baseball, and basketball to volleyball, gymnastics, and soccer. Many times we got free tickets to the less popular sports but pretty much every week I was at an LSU event. Not gonna lie, it was awesome. Myself with my siblings and cousins running around the PMAC hopped up on sugar with paper airplanes in the tunnel was always a blast

I started high school in 94, so that was when I really started paying attention to college instead of just the Saints and NFL Football because I'm not from BR and it was tough to catch many games on TV before then.
Went to the Independence Bowl against MSU, but my first game in Tiger Stadium was my senior year in 97, and that's when I really got hooked.
Became a fanatic my freshman year at LSU in 98. UGA game is still one of the most fun games even though we lost cause it was my first time in the student section.
Gotten more and more obsessed every year since
Arkansas 99 was awesome. Such a burden was lifted seeing us get that win after the awful losing streak and Houston the week before.
2000 was epic in every way after UAB. Got onto the field twice
2001, Auburn restored my faith after the Florida beatdown and Ole Miss debacle and to this day is my #2 gameday experience.
2002, loved going to The Swamp and watching us roll UF. Big group of friends all froze our asses off after a down year watching our last game as undergrads as we found a way to beat OM (5 year plan, too much football
)
2003, UGA is still my #1 game of all time. Almost positive I'm the one who started the LSU chant after UGA scored late
2005, UT is still my most painful TS experience after what we'd been through with the storms.

I was a Nebraska fan growing up.
Good friends with Cameron Vaughn in high school and he committed to LSU. The rest is history. Now I can't get enough of LSU.
Another friend in high school's sister dated and eventually married Blair Barbier. That's my LSU baseball start.

1965 South Carolina game. Dietzel's return. I was 6 years old and sat with with my best friend in 2 seats on the 50, right under the Press Box. My Dad was on the radio crew and he could lean out of the Press Box and check on us. Been hooked ever since.

Met Blair a handful of times. Always a nice guy to me and had a awesome family. His uncles are cool as hell.
Still have a cardboard piece I made Cresse and the rest of them sign after winning the super.

2010 or 2011, when I decided LSU was where I was going to go.

1971 living in Michigan and was caught up in the 10 years war with Ohio St. And then it happened. A SAT night in TS with LSU beating ND 28-8 with the crowd goin CRAZY!!! I said THAT is where I need to be. 8 years later we moved to Louisiana and my 1st game at TS was the 1979 USC game. I have been a TIGER ever since.

I kind of started to become a fan when LSU laid the wood on Ohio State in the 2007 NC

Funny thing about my story is that instead of going through OHIO to get to FLA in 1978, my dad went through Indiana [the long way] so he didn't have to drive through Ohio. I still laugh at this today.
