When coaches are paid that amount, players should be in a position to succeed.

What got me about last night is the number of times our players were out of position and that adjustments were not made during the game.
The entire LSU coaching staff is paid at the top of the college scale. For that money, those players should be 100% prepared when they walk on the field. When the plays start and the the players don’t execute, that is on the players and there were a few of those last night. But players not being in a position to succeed BEFORE the snaps, that is on the coaches.
If our coaching payroll was in the middle of the Division 1 ranking, this wouldn’t be a big deal. But we are paying for a USDA Prime and getting served grizzle.
