What's up the announcers saying Guice shouldn't be playing?

I don't really hear them saying this about other teams star players (such as Notre Dames two projected first round pick O linemen) and implying that Coach O puts more pressure on the top players to play in the bowl games (against their best interests) than other HC's do?

I guess they are just to picking up on the negativity that comes from this site and since the idiot fans don't get behind the coach why should they

Well, there is a huge difference between a RB and OL. Most OL injuries aren't going to be catastrophic.
However, they did all but say it was pressure from CEO. Which I though was irresponsible. All O has said is that he doesn't think players should sit them out. It's a far cry from forcing or pressuring.
Guice walks to a different beat of the drum. I don't know why people were assuming he WASN'T going to play. I told numerous people who thought I was just wearing P&G glasses that if healthy, he'll play.
I'm not sure why the 'norm' was changed or when, but that's what the announcers were playing off of. They assumed that since it is 'normal' to sit out now, that Guice had to be forced.
Oh, and projected round matters in who they single out and who they don't... not just position.

I didnt hear it that way. Also commentators are rarely consistent in their stances on crap just just talk to keep their mouths running.
Everyone knows guice if you say his name. Most would ask who are those olinemen.

Did you watch Penn State - Udub? They literally said this about Saquon Barkley every other series.
Oline guys usually don’t suffer the same types of catastrophic injuries that backs do.
EDIT: didn’t see that my second point had already been made.
