According to SloFro's "Analysis" that is true.

i've noticed that SFP has been pretty quiet on the whole JJ/JL stuff...

what do you think the reasoning is for that?

He's positioning himself for a "Why isn't Chris Garrett playing?" campaign. Much like the Keiland Williams campaign.

so out of garrett and shepard, you think garrett will be the better QB?

unless we completely change our offense and go spread option, i just don't see shep beating out the traditional garrett

UF runs the spread option as a base offense and it's pretty much all they do

we don't run much spread option. crowton is a spread guy who has incorporated a lot of the jimbo playbook to satisfy les's "boom, pop, pow!" desires. we run mostly a traditional offense

garrett is a traditional QB, and he seems to be pretty beastly

if we go spread option, then of course shep will be the starter

not really

i've sent a lot of praise JJ's way. i've actually given his talent the highest praise i could give

i just don't rip into lee like many do. he gets too much shite on here, but he's definitely not our starter

Shep is a pure HS QB that will need to get used to collegiate speed, him starting this season is delirious talk, especially with a talented QB like JJ poised for a breakout year.

I actually see those two QB's as one QB...

meaning, they will split the snaps once they are THE QB's...

he's not starting this year unless a catastrophe happens

his role will be a gimmick role

he's faster than most college kids right now

it wont' be close to 50-50

look at 2007 and how often we used RP when flynn was healthy. 75-25 at best

if les miles is a smart man, he'll have shep taking more than 25 percent of the snaps...

yeah I know, I meant him reacting to the speed of college ball as opposed to HS, he'll find a lot faster athletes closing in on him than in HS.

That's too many. You don't want Jefferson on the sidelines for 1/4 of the plays. He needs to get into a rhythm. If they want RS to have the ball in hands that much, they need to figure out other ways to do it besides taking snaps away from our starting QB.

And just to clarify what I said earlier because it seems some of you have reading comprehension problems still. I never said that Lee will or should start-or even play at all. I just said it's possible that Les goes to him at some point when Jefferson is struggling. And he will struggle. How do I know this? Because every QB in the history of football has struggled at some point. Jamarcus struggled some in his 4th year. Jefferson is damn sure bound to in his 2nd. Whether Les puts Lee in is another question. They rode Jamarcus, but I have to believe the gap between him and Flynn was greater than the gap between JJ and Lee is right now.
