I have to tip my cap to my wife. She spent a few hours cooking red beans and rice for the game in a house with no AC. I noticed the temp rising around 1 PM and started looking at the Condensing Unit once I could tell the issue was something with the Compressor.
Thankfully it was just a bad Capacitor, but the supply houses that are open on Saturday close at noon. Thankfully, one of the service techs at our company keeps everything that hasn’t failed off units he replaces and he had the one I needed.
It took a few hours and a drive to get the part, but the house is cooling down for game time. And my wife rocks.
Geaux TIGAHS!
