why do people tlak about throwing it away or burning it? odds are there will be more excellent #7's if we are talking jerseys and its not like the kid transferred to alabama.

if you want to burn your phelon jones gear go ahead.

Any grown person who has to buy gear, representing a "star" or potential "star" is a sick individual, IMO. Is your life so meaningless, that you try to live through a kid's accomplishments? Wear your own damn clothes to a game, and not the number, shirt., etc. that you wish that you are.

I have his jersey with name on back. I'll keep it displayed in my LSU room.

I don't wear jerseys but I don't see anything wrong with wearing one to a GAME.

Not everyone can be as cool as you though.

I'm not cool, but I see something wrong with an adult, especially a male, wearing the number of some kid on the back, of his jersey. I attended LSU when Archie was the star at OLE MISS and Bert Jones and Tommy Cassanova were the stars at LSU. Back in my time, we didn't wear the jerseys of the kids that we wished we had the talent that they had. Instead, we made successful lives for ourselves.

My son is the only one who wears jerseys and the baby jersey doesn't have his name. It was origionally for Peterson when he got it so it's not a big deal.

Again, I don't wear jerseys but this is simply idiotic. People are showing support. Not everyone who wears jerseys are people who just wish they were a 19 yo kid living vicariously through them.

Most likely because player replica jerseys were not a popular item sold, if even made at that point.

Is your life so meaningless where you have to force your idiotic beliefs on other people just because they choose to live life the way they want? I bet you burn down abortion clinics and Catholic churches too. You are a complete idiot.
