This was your expectation? All you care about is what seed we may or may not get? Are you fn serious!

PM has done such a shitty job at LSU that now even the fans level of expectation has tanked!!!!

For several years now, everyone was talking about how "this was the year". Not just get to Omaha, but to compete well there.

If he achieves anything less than that, there is absolutely no excuse for anyone to use to keep him around anymore. He sucks people! Quiet possibly one of the most overrated coaches in all of sports.

HIs ineptness has been staring at your faces for years but you have been too blind to see. The title of his book.... "How to bring down the most powerful baseball program in the country".

Yeah I get it... here come the down votes.... because truth is just too much to take and admitting you are wrong is a difficult thing to do!

Omaha with a pitching staff good enough to win it.

I was expecting a good baseball team...I am not seeing a good baseball team play...
Love our freshmen, expected growing pains, but sometimes it seems to be labor pains more than anything...

Omaha ... legitimately. CPM hyped the pitching. I was talking to a booster and he said Manieri told him "all we have to do is score a couple of runs".

i can't for the life of me understand this. this just isn't commensurate for ANY elite program much less the premier program. competing for a national seed is regular season crap, which is aiming low. the best teams shoot for omaha and if they get to host, all the better.

with the guys we had returning and the new guys we signed I was expecting at least hosting a regional and top seed just like last year.

overall, the new guys we signed have performed as good or better than I expected but our returnees have stunk the joint up at the plate and on the mound.

at least twice this year I thought the team was at their low ebb for the season and they keep coming up with new low ebbs. the Kentucky series and last night just was off the charts in futility.

I think the team is mortally wounded.

Based upon the fact that we had most position players returning, a much heralded pitching staff and started the season ranked #2 in the country, my expectations were very high.

I certainly thought we would host a super with a good chance to make it to Omaha with Lange and Poche

This.

I thought our 1-2 punch on the mound would equate to tons of weekends series' wins and a dominant regional en route to the super. I'm baffled that neither of these guys has really found his form.
