It was 10-3 into the 4th quarter. One misstep and the game is tied.

I was in the same section - row 68. The loudest people within 40 rows were an old guy that kept yelling out the most retarded Rant-isms you could imagine and a woman who did seem to think it was
"Bama in a tie game in the fourth quarter" most of the game.

Probably the same attitude that many in the Georgia Dome had at the UNC game. There were 3 men, maybe early 50's, in the row behind me who got up to leave mid way through the 3rd quarter. We all asked them where they were going and they said they were hungry and stadium food wouldn't cut it. Just shook my head. Times have certainly changed when people do that crap!! Just couldn't believe it!!

I was there and I must say it was on of the most well behaved LSU crowds I've ever seen. I only saw one drunk Tiger. Unfortunately I only heard one "LSU, LSU, LSU" chant the entire game which was at the end. Was there one in the beginning I missed?

My wife, daughter and I made the trip and cheered the entire game. It was very quit for an LSU crowd. But that didn't stop us from enjoying a TIGER VICTORY.

Same thing as the North Carolina game. LSU fans in my section did nothing but sit on their arse. When I would try to stand up for big plays and cheer on the tigers I would get yelled at and shite thrown at me. It is a different breed of tiger fans now. They only care about showing off their money because they can sit on the 50 yard line. It is really disgusting!

they were pissed because we only scored 10 points in the first half and went three and out on the first three successive possessions.

Not sure where you were sitting, but the people around me stood up and made noise nearly the entire game against UNC.

I AGREE that most of the LSU fans sucked on Saturday. I was in section V row 40 and everyone in front of me stood for for alot of the game, and of course the students were great. But the people behind our row in section V and all of section U sat down and kept their mouths shut for most of the game. EVEN when the players were begging for noise. Things are not the same....I think the crowd has changed, maybe the money bags just don't care. Look at how empty the stands get in Tiger Stadium, win or lose. Kudos to all of the TRUE fans!!

Kind of confused? So the fans who traveled all the way to Nashville in support of the Tigers are not "TRUE fans" because they did not cheer in the manner you wanted them too? Get over it.

My wife and I made the trip and enjoyed it all the way there and back. We both thought that it was impressive for it to be more Tiger Fans than Vandy Fans. LSU was by far louder than they where, they used pumped in socalled music/noise to out do the Tiger Fans. They did not want to be embarrised because of the visiting team's crowed being louder. To make sure that the Tiger Band was not heard over their band they used that pumped in noise to drown out our band. If all you remember after the half they kept that noise going at full level until the ball was kicked and not let the field crowd make the noise.

We sat in section T row 67 and it was loud the whole game, we all enjoyed the game except for several series where the offense seemed to not perform due to the play calling and the lack of performance on the field.

I see a steady increase of improvement on the team as a whole. The defense is doing great and the running game has got it in gear and now they need to do whatever it takes to get the passing game into gear and we will have a great season.

That doesn't explain when pregame got played... we couldn't even get "L-S-U, L-S-U" going - not even close.

I don't mind people sitting. It's pretty normal for the non-students to sit for most of the game - home or away.

You can still make noise from your seat though.

I was in the next section (U) on about the same row. We must've heard and seen things differently.

As far as the number of fans there, it's both a testament to our traveling fanbase and a condemnation of Vandy's football tradition.

Anybody that makes the trip is definitely a fan in my book. Personally, I'm just not interested in golf clapping as the Tiger fan standard.
