LSU small market ?

Oh come on you know what I mean. For LSU to continue to recruit at the top level of CFB then LSU should pool resources together like Texas announced. Then the money can be spread around to many sports. Having individual players go out and make their own deals is not how the other schools are approaching it.

And I've been critical of the buyouts etc since Woodward announced it. I'm joking but how many five stars could LSU have bought with Coach O buyout money. They could of bought enough to make Coach O look like he was a good coach. May not have even had to fire him if you bought enough players. Lol.

Other schools are just doing it via money laundering. The boosters pay into a local business who pretends they’re doing it as advertisement. It’s all fake bribery.

NCAA needs to grow a spine and control this mess.

I think the rule was put in place to destroy the SEC
… you are somewhat correct.. it now becomes a bidding war for super athletes.. it’s more about the MONEY deal rather than winning championships so that being Bama (SEC) in general with the most recent championships but as a whole the rule is to destroy college football which will become the NFL farm teams such as in Major League Baseball..

For a smaller market team like LSU to keep up they are going to need a group of business men to come together and model the funds the other schools are doing. LSU is going to have to pool funds together in order to keep up with the biggest money spenders

This in a nutshell is going to end up ruining the sport.
