He did do this, but overall and relative to our recent offense, he did very well.

Key part there. In reality, he played just ok. Hopefully he improves with more playing time.

It was a horrible matchup and very out of left field for the situation. Has Ridley even caught a pass for over 5 yards since he's been enrolled?

You guys ask for a bit too much sometimes.

Dude made one inexcusable throw ...the up for grabs throw

Made one pretty par for the course in college bad decision...the intentional grounding.

had one int on a horrible play call...that he should have thrown out of bounds.

Other than that you have a dude that made plays all night down the field.

Lots of college qbs throw off there back foot when pressured.
Lots of college qbs stare down receivers.

For the most part he made the plays he is supposed to make and made our pass game a real threat in that game.

Pass shuld have been to left shoulder! But other than that he did good enough for us to be a factor for the NC. That is just my unprofessional opinion and granted I don't have very high expectations to fill the starting spot.

Exactly. JL just made it a little bit harder for opposing defenses to game plan. Now they cant just load the box, knowing we will never get our WR the ball.

Now they have to at least somewhat respect our passing attack and our WRs with all that talent. This will not only open up the aerial attack it will take players out of the box for our ground game. Ridley should be able to get a few more yards each down, narrowing the distance to first downs and giving our QB a better chance at converting first downs.

1. That was a horrible pass
2. It wasn't a fade route

Fore, thank you for pointing out the obvious.

And, yes Lee went through progressions all day long, especially on the 4th down to Toliver.

but which idiot called an endzone fade to the shortest person on the field.REALLY?

He was open, not only was it a short throw but it was thrown in front of him rather than behind.

It was actually a good play call, but poorly executed by JL

even the interception pass was a good pass
If it had been thrown over his other shoulder, it would have been a good pass. JL should be our starter next week even with his mistakes.

Lee deserves to start.

I won't get into the technical side of how each pass should be thrown, and I will only say this. I feel, and I am not so sure that the team doesn't feel this, a sense that we have a chance. JJ adds a different dimension, but that dimension doesn't equate to success. If he were the "Dennard Robinson" kind of spectacular, Lee would be an afterthought, but he's not. He seems to be regressing since the NC game, which I thought was one of his better games.

For all of Lee's shortcomings, he does seem to do a better job. I am not looking for him to be an NFL qb. I am looking for him, or someone, to get into a game, move the ball down the field by alternately throwing all types of passes, eating up the clock, and keeping the defense off the field. I don't think, nor have I seen, Jefferson do that.

The worst pass he made all day was when he ran past the line of scrimmage.
