This was almost a thing at Woodrow's in Houston for the 2006 basketball regionals. Woodrow's was the LSU football watch party bar in Houston for twenty years. It had been about that long since LSU basketball was a thing, so how were Houston LSU fans supposed to know Woodrow's was something of a Univ of Texas basketball hangout. That regional final viewing party was quite...lively.

Is Black Friar's kid friendly? I have a 3 yr old who loves football.
Their website says until 8pm. But I can't imagine them asking you to leave if you are already there. But its a shitty space they are in that even Gingerman couldn't survive in. A couple of others have tried pubs at that location after Gingerman and failed. Its oddly shaped and small but it does have a depressing, claustrophobic upstairs which is where the game will probably be shown. The upstairs kind of reminds me of Ave Pub upstairs which I never cared for either. I can walk there but always opt for Cock & Bull which is around the corner.
