LSU/UGA SECCG winner is in.

Obviously, Georgia has to win to be in. LSU can drop that game and will still be in.

I don’t think an undefeated or 1-loss conference champ has been left out of the playoffs for a non conference champ.

A non conference champ/ non Note Dame team has only gotten in once when 11-1 Bama got in over 11-2 OSU. That year OSU won the Big 10 Championship game by defeating unbeaten Wisconsin.

11-1 Bama got in over 12-1 non conference champ Wisconsin.

Especially having the same loss record as a team who sat home and didn't have to put it all on the line. A team would have to be undefeated or have a top 4 resume to just a conference champ.

The media is eating this up. They can't believe they're baby bama got beat and looking for all excuses.

okay i'll play. lets assume LSU loses to UGA and they are in.

So you have Ohio St, Clemson, UGA and...

LSU 12-1
OU 12-1
Bama 11-1
Oregon 12-1

Which one of these would have a better resume than LSU? Or for that matter, which one is even remotely CLOSE

I’d say Bama is 100% out int that scenario.
The other teams would have top 10 wins in conference championship games while LSU would have a loss.

I’m not saying it’s 100% certain LSU would be out in that scenario but they likely would be. And fans really wouldn’t have a good argument otherwise.

We have all said that Bama shouldn’t back in without winning the SEC. the same goes for us.

Keep winning and don’t let a committee to decide

Thats right. Thats the year the Big 10 champion was 11-2, and 11-1 non champ OSU got in over 11-2 champion.

I agree with this idea. I think what they showed last night was that Bama can't get any higher than 5 unless all out chaos happens.
