Not Alabama...We should've beat them this year straight up. Lee thought otherwise.

At the end of the year??? Maybe florida, but i would love to have seen us play texas, ok, or florida of this year wit last years team... offense vs defense...

Kind of an odd question, because every season is different. You really can't compare teams from this year to teams from last year. Our 2007 team was all about talent and heart. So many times we got behind, yet we had so much heart to come back and win those games. While we did lose 2 games, we had guys like Hester and Dorsey that were true leaders on our team.
This season is different in college football. The Big 12 is much stronger than the SEC as a conference, but they don't like playing defense in that league at all. It's just about impossible to think of how the 2008 Oklahoma team would fare against the 2007 LSU team, IMO.

If it ends up being OU vs. Florida, UF's defense will not yield more points than Texas' D did.

I have a question. Not trying to start anything, but what do you think about the emotion of that game this year? That was a tough game for both teams and I don't really see how you can blame it on you guys not being that good. We had just as many bad breaks in that game as you did. Look at last year when you guys were so good, we played hard too. I think some games get in players head too much, JMO.

Despite how good LSU 2007 was most of the time, that team still got beat by two very average teams, one of them at home. So I think Alabama has to be thrown in there, if for no other reason than the fact that the Tide have not lost to a team they shouldn't.
So you're saying Kentucky 2007 and Arkansas 2007 are better than every SEC 2008 team except Florida?

That is a VERY GOOD point. You guys almost (and should have) beat us last year as we almost beat you this year.

A lot of teams from this year are better than we were last year imo. Florida, USC, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, maybe some others. I still think we could beat Bama tho.
