The end result is all that should matter to people that have football knowledge outside of xbox.

Bitching about 10+ win seasons is ridiculous and embarrassing.

That most of UM problems are off the field, why would he want to get into that, up there?

What is probably worse, is the insane number of people bitching about the bitching on here. Honestly, some of these folk shouldn't be on a message board. It's all they do.

Also surprised he stayed after the total lack of "love and respect" shown for him and his record at LSU.

You are fricking retarded if you think Miles hasn't been shown "love and respect" through his years at LSU, even with the constant rant bashing.

Christ, just forget it. Miles is the greatest, and LSU rules the universe.

Winning what in the SEC? We finished fricking 3rd in the West. What a great accomplishment.

I was one of those that thought Miles might leave for Michigan. Because it's no secret that Les remembers his days in Ann Arbor with great fondness.

Heck, he met his wife up there. Add to that, the fact that his daughter Smacker is a nationally-ranked high school swimmer and LSU's swimming team is terrible. While Michigan has a very good swimming program.

But the Michigan athletic department is a deeply divided community, with armed camps lobbing grenades at each other.

The Tiger Rant, by comparison, looks like a campfire cookout with everyone singing 'Kumbaya".

No wonder Les stayed here.

Dude. The 2 teams in front of us were both BCS bowl teams including the undefeated NC. We lost to both on the road and were in both games late in the 4th. We ended with 11 wins and top 10 ranking. Objectivity is a good thing. We are a decent qb away from being champs again. That qb may very well be on the team now.

Then they have people such as yourself who look at nothing but the end result. You see the record we ended up with and think people are crazy for bashing Miles.

In the final analysis, the end result is really all that matters. Even under Saban, we never dominated consistently the way folk think we should under Miles.

But, those folk have never accepted Miles and never will and results have nothing to do with it.

I believe this to be overwhelmingly true.

He also went batshit crazy on his qb in the middle of a game right around this time.

I thought this would work as a positive for BP.

Definitely. This should have been a plus with the Miles-is-too-soft crowd.

What would happen if you made Bo Pelini the coach of this team and Jefferson was the starter?

I think it was seeing the name of potential replacements (legit ones, not Gruden) come up and then realize that the alternative to Miles not might be so good.
