Its hard not to notice the drop off in total passing yards since 2006. Spin it however you want, we are just not a very good passing team lately. Unfortunately we are not a very good running team either.
Seems to me that points to coaching and play calling not to the players.

Transfer to Eastern Michigan.

Sad to say, but some of the harshest criticism of Lee has come from "fans" much older than he is, and not necessarily the students.

don't take himself too seriously.
he did an incredible job for a kid.
he stayed b/c his coach asked him to.
he stayed b/c his coach is a man of integrity.
my degree has made me a wealthy man. my love for lsu has it's roots in my blood and family. and that kind of pride carries me around the world.
like the true lsu fans, he realizes that there will always be boo-gers in life. if this kid can take the idocy of 10's of thousands of red-neck, low-life, trailer trash, boo-gers, this kid can be king of the world.
he will never do it in public, but i hope he goes to sleep every nite with a smile on his face and soooo grateful that he is not a boo-ger.

Pull a Craig Nall and transfer to Northwestern St, South Eastern, or some small school in Texas (Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, etc.) and finish out your career there.

My preference: I would love to see him stay, do something positive, and redeem himself at LSU.
Plan B: transfer to FSU. He was a Jimbo recruit and didn't their QB get hurt?

I disagree. I think that Crowton has ruined him. He was thrown into the proverbial SEC swimming pool without a life preserver by an inept offensive coordinator and a head coach who doesn't seem to have a clue. LSU's lack of a true QB coach hurt him, and is still hurting Jefferson, tremendously. Crowton and Miles turned Lee into the head case he is today. Why do you think they are babying Jefferson to the extent that they are? They don't want to be responsible for a repeat.
Damn. LouisianaLonghorn just smacked me in the head with a 2x4 with the assertion above....and with him being an observer who is not of purple and gold persuasion, I must say, it does strike a chord that I cannot disagree with at this moment............

Those "results" are the reason why you started this thread.

Of course ... otherwise the question would be, "How much guaranteed NFL money do think he'll get?"
I just didn't want it to turn into a bash thread. We know the results have been ... er ... sub-optimal. That didn't need to be rehashed.
I think the kid has talent, but it just seems pretty evident that he's not going to see the field much for the rest of his career if he stays at LSU.
