Your over-rated team got exposed. While USC does have a good team, we will have to wait and see what the rest of the year brings. OSU's performance 2 weeks ago shows that they are not the OSU of a few years ago.
Sorry you got beat but dont drag us down with you. If LSU loses like that this year then we can whine together, until then keep worshipping USC.

Yes they should start awarding "The Sweater Vest Trophy" each year to the team that builds to the most over-hyped, over-ranked team who gets detroyed in their bowl game

They used to call that the Golden Dome award...

I believe a pertinent question is how USC, or any other contender for that matter, would handle an SEC schedule. Playing a big game without the worry of turning around and playing a really good team the next week makes a huge difference. One thing I would love to see is how USC would play against really good programs week end and week out as well as having to play a conference championship game to boot! They might do great, but unfortunately we will never know. Kind of reminds me of Fla. State before the ACC expanded.

You guys are blind. I think if USC plays it's best game they are hands down the best team in the country. I was always one to say they are overrated blah blah blah,
We knew Ohio state was too slow to play with USC. Just as you guys were against Florida and LSU.

Vandy, Miss. State, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, UGA, LSU. I'd Say UGA and FL would beat them 6-7 times out of 10, LSU and Auburn and Alabama, 4-5 times out of ten Vandy 2 and Miss State 1.

Florida would give them a good game and very possibly beat USC. LSU could also if the QB play vastly improves and the kickoff/punting game does as well. Right now with no passing game, all teams are just going to start crowding the line of scrimmage. We certainly couldn't overpower any good team just with a power running game. Also with very poor punting and kickoffs we lose the battle for field position.

Florida

Does not match up well with USC. USC by 17.

That is exactly wrong. Florida's offense matches up very well with USC's defense. Which teams have given USC trouble in the past? Teams with talented mobile QBs that run the spread. In other words....teams like Florida.

I mean, if Cushing had trouble tackling VY, he'll have trouble tackling Tebow. 255 lb linebackers cannot catch Percy Harvin......

I mean, how in the hell do you support your argument here? I really want to know because I see things exactly the opposite from you.

Cushing was a true freshman trying to tackle a college football legend.

As a senior, he's grown into NFL material. And I'm sure he wouldn't mind another shot at VY at the next level.

Florida is without a doubt the SEC's best chance to beat USC, for all the reasons you mentioned. Also, the BCSCG is in Florida, giving the Gators a logistical advantage.

Not really a fair question.

A better question would be how many games would USC win if their next five games were;

Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
Alabama
LSU

In that order, I think they lose 2 of those games.

They are finished with their season for the year in September. The BCS will always be bullshite until strength of schedule is added back into the equation.

They have no ranked opponents left on their schedule and everyone is talking NC. frick USC and their pussy conference.

LSU, Florida, UGA, Auburn, and maybe even the Bammers
Let me get this right, a team that only beat Tulane by a couple TD's(Bama), a Auburn team that beat MSU 3-2 who BTW got beat by a lousy La. Tech team, a UGA squad who barely beat a poor S. Carolina team who lost to Vandy. Now that leaves LSU and Fla. LSU can compete with them defensively. I agree on that and USC's D can stop LSU's passing game which will not be a factor until maybe next year. So I would give USC a 2 TD advantage because I think they are a better team than LSU overall and this is their best team since 2003. The only team that can actually beat them is Fla. which I see alot of similarities. The advantage USC has is their D is better, and Fla. advantage is Tebow is better then Sanchez. Overall I think a USC/Fla game will come to the O-Line and who has better pass coverage for the QB.

I knew this would happen. OU is a very weak team. Vandy would beat them. Both LSU and FL
Blew them out.

So USC beats them and they are suddenly the greatest team in history. Hogwash!

Bamma,Fla,and Lsu could all beat sc.

Bamma blew out no 9 Clemson on a nutral feild
(clemson would beat Ohio state).
