Would you have sat Fraley to give Foster another shot?
Early in the season? Sure...
Late in the season? No, but I would have tried some different people at different positions.

Fraley didnt start early in the season

He has no reason to stay at LSU. CPM plays favorites
The four players that got most of the time in the outfield produced and Foster didn't. What was Mainieri supposed to do?

Which is my point. In the early season I would have given Foster every chance. Once Fraley stepped up it was his from then on.

Play foster anyway because we lost a regional. Obviously.

BCPM. Am I doing that right?

Ok gotcha but Foster got the first shot and didnt produce so someone else was given a shot.

He will as someone said earlier Johnny Dishon was drafted.

How long is long enough to get a "shot." It seemed pretty obvious to me that Foster was on a short leash at the start of the year w/ Mainieri. What is confusing is that he obviously had shown enough to start the year in the 4 hole, but for whatever reason he wasn't given the opportunity to hit his way out of the slump.

Foster got PT on a better team last year, so idk what to tell you. He should have hit the terrible pitching he got to face.

I like Foster, but anyone who says who wasn't given a chance this season is blindly supporting their boy. Not only did he get many early season starts, but he kept getting chances all year long. He didn't hit .220, he hit about .110. 2 or 3 at bats every 7 games or so is more than enough for somebody who is hitting in the low 100's.

They hate a freshman hitting .200 with a .340 obp but think a junior hitting .110 should have played more.

He will get drafted but a long shot to make the majors, just like the 1000+ other guys drafted.

I really thought we had a chance to keep Bradley until the last few weeks. He was in Houston for a workout yesterday.
