I swear you guys act like a 1 game suspension is like jail time.

If Chip decides to suspend him, I really don't care. I just don't see it happening unless there is more to it.

Chip will not be suspending DT. Watch this video if you want to see Chips reaction and what he thinks about this situation:

I love the way you people in Oregon can pick and choose which laws you will enforce and which laws you won't.

They smoked it hours earlier and they easily passed a field check to see if impaired, and was perfect at the test. Or did you not see the video? Ie.(they were not high at the time, but had smoked it way earlier and the smell was still in the air...)

C'mon dude. MJ smoke dissipates quickly. AC at full blast can clear a car out in 60 seconds. Don't try to pass that shite around here.

Smell included.

Yes we all know that Chip will not suspend the star quarterback for the big game. I am saying that since he is on a football scholarship, he is a representative of the university, and more is expected of him. He is expected to make better decisions, both on the field and off.

You make excuses, using poor grammar and spelling skills I might add, to what we all know really happened. They got special treatment because they were football players, if you don't believe it, please prove it to us by replicating Cliff Harris and the gang's wild ride whilst high. I'm gonna bet the outcome is not gonna be the same.

The part that cracks me up is that according to that first link, no one in the car had a valid liscense. If 118+ mph, suspected driving under the influence, and driving suspended doesn't get you arrested, I'm not sure what it would take. I understand that Oregon is a pretty liberal place, but damn.

Apparently you do not follow Oregon weather. At 4am no one is going to be running the AC. Look how cold it gets at night over here, esp in this cold spring/summer we are having. Actually, that was in May when this happened. ie. We do not run our AC when it is dark out as they do in LA. We do not have the heat and humidity you guys have. So there is no way they had on AC. Thus, your claim failed!

Are you really so dense to think that if they were getting pulled over by the cops they wouldn't crank the AC while stopping to clear the car? Really?

That is not true. One guy had a valid license. And after being checked out(sobriety check) he was allowed to drive the car back. BTW, this also was the guy who had the permission of Cliffy's friend who rented the car, and was to be the one driving it anyways.

Just a normal citation issued and released to drive home. Football players or not. This is very common in Oregon as us Oregonians have been trying to tell you guys.

That's your justification. I didn't say that they had the AC on. I was trying to explain to you that it takes very little time for the smell of marijuana to not be detected.

Point being that if they smoked hours before then the cop wouldn't have smelled anything.

I dont get why it even matters if they had just smoked or smoked earlier. Even if they were stoned when they got pulled over they could still pass a sobriety test, it isn't hard to do unless you're drunk

Dude, you really have no clue about Oregon Weather. Look up the average low(as this was from like 4am and around 30 mins stopped after that) what temp it would of been then. Ie. did you see the video? Did you notice his jacket on? Ie. It gets cold at night over here, esp in May, and sometimes even in the summer. They were waring jackets. At that time it was probably around 45 degrees dumbass. No AC needed.

I hope this is a joke. You do realize that was his point don't you? The officer clearly smelled MJ the moment he approached. The posters point is, if they had smoked it hours ago as you claim, there is no way in hell the smell would have been that pungent.

Kelly states in an interview DT was in the car because he had been in PDX and needed a ride to Eugene because of a trip to ESPN

Thanks.

I thought I heard Canzano say that on the radio today but wasn't sure.

So, Harris knew his boy DT needed a ride so he borrowed the gf's rental car and went up to PDX to pick up DT for some fun times on the freeway.

Nobody is fighting.........Ducks are just trying to let the conservative tiger fans know that it's cold in Oregon, people smoke pot and its acceptable also, and lastly cops are fricking cool in Oregon.

Seriously, I want to move to Oregon.
