He's Reggie Bush if you give up a little speed for a more hard nose mentality.

You mean like this tape?
You honestly think these two resemble each other? Ok.

Yes, let's base our comparison off of one video from each back.

Yes. Lynch is more powerful while Guice is more elusive and quick, however. They share a lot of traits. I'm not saying they're exact clones.

Okay to you too.

Everyone on this site is perpetually pissy for some reason.

Not pissy I said ok that's your opinion I don't see it at all and you sure can tell the way a player looks from one video. I think he moves and compares more to miller.

Yes good one. Martin kinda leads with his head more but yes they cut a lot alike.

I think the Miller comparison is fair. Lamar has more straight line speed probably but Guice is far more violent and powerful in the way he breaks tackles. They're both very elusive and quick in their cuts though.

While I agree guice runs violently I don't see this power ppl talk about. He'll break some tackles in the secondary but I've never once seen him run over a lb or out of the tackle of a lb. I think because he runs hard ppl mistake that for actual power which he lacks in reality. Watch him vs the better defenses he gets knocked backwards crushed and manhandled at the line of scrimmage. That doesn't happen to guys like lynch. That's why I don't see the comparison between the two.

Not a LB but he licks a safety pretty well

Breaks the tackle of DL

He doesn't have as much power as Fournette or someone of Fournette's stature. He's nowhere near as thick. His power comes from his lower body strength and low center of gravity, which is why I call it deceptive. He's on the smaller side but can still plant his feet and escape sound tackles.

Whether you call that power or elusiveness is up to you. I'll call it power.

ETA: Just wanted to point this out:

This will happen to nearly every back. Fournette is very powerful yet got his arse waxed by Alabama two years in a row. It happens to everyone, including guys like Lynch. Guice's run vs South Carolina shows what he can do when he has no blocking and gets caught in the backfield though.

Guice is obviously much smarter though. Derrius has his head screwed on tight

Lynch is smarter than he tries to put on.

Oh I'm sure. I just think Guice is more level-headed.

I don't think Guice is as quick or fast but it's an interesting comparison for sure.
