It is very possible for us to lose all of these games:

9/4 North Carolina - -
9/11 at Vanderbilt - -
9/18 Miss. State - -
9/25 West Virginia - -
10/2 Tennessee - -
10/9 at Florida - -
10/23 at Auburn - -
11/6 Alabama - -
11/20 Ole Miss - -
11/27 at Arkansas

I think there is a likely chance we lose:

9/4 North Carolina - -
10/2 Tennessee - -
10/9 at Florida - -
10/23 at Auburn - -
11/6 Alabama - -
11/27 at Arkansas

RB = better
FB = better
OL = better
DL = could be better, best players weren't in spring game
DB = about the same
QB = about the same

Mingo is a beast, Ford looks like the real deal and we have Ridley and Murphy to add to that, Loston and Peterson....

this is why i think we can better than 8-4

Yes. I think if we would have been playing a Florida or Bama we would have been ran all over.

Agree
Agree
Not Sold. 2 returning starters. One switched sides the other was as inconsistent as they come last year.
Again, not sold. An unproven OL, pushed them all over the field. If Nevis is that important to the DL then were def. in trouble.
Agree, though I believe Mo can be better than Hawk was.
Not sure, is it possible to regress from last year?

I have been right about our team and the record for over 5 yrs now except one season and I was only off by 1 game.

And 9-3 or even 8-4 is not a terrible prediction. It's just the "at best" that always pisses me off.

I think we are looking at LSU finishing 3rd or 4th in the West depending on how improved Auburn is with Cam Newton.

true...oline is actually one position that showed improvement as season progressed last year.
I expect us to be much better this year at this spot.

That was kinda my point

Plus...they looked pretty good with the running game during the spring game....and i have now come to realize by reading this board that the spring game is an exact predictor of how the regular season will turn out.

1) 2 starters return

2) Crowton still OC

3) Stud still OL coach.

nope not better then 8-4. I think more 6-6 for the year.
UNC--butch davis is a good coach
Miss State--LSU has win streak is 2 long
Tenn--look what doley did to lsu with
lesser players at tech.
ole miss--Miles has only beaten Nutt once in
6 years
Flordia--do i really have to say anything

Ala-- Sabin will out coach Miles

If Lsu does beat UNC the
Ark-- will beat LSU this year Mallet is a senior

Defense will get better running attack will get better QB situation about the same as last year but if JJ can learn how to throw it down field and scramble more often

to many people look at our QB and say oh we not going to get better but everything around him is getting better

So let me get this straight....you think LSU loses to...

UNC
Miss. State
Tenn
Ole Miss
Florida
Alabama

...and possibly Arkansas

I think thats very possible actually. Do I think they will lose all of them. Most likely not all of them but it is very possible.

I think we lose to

UNC
Florida
Alabama
Arkansas

and could end up losing to Auburn if Newton is 1/5th of the QB he was suppose to be coming out of HS.

maybe we will lose this game but UNC isn't that great i think we can beat them.

Lose to State at home nah i don't think this will happen if this happens ill join the fire less miles crew.
quote:

Tenn--look what doley did to lsu with
lesser players at tech.

Tenn recuriting class fell apart after their head coach left. Plus Tennesse has never been that impressive I think we will win this game

quote:

ole miss--Miles has only beaten Nutt once in
6 years

they lose their top running back and we got them at home

quote:

Flordia--do i really have to say anything

they lose tim tebow thats not a small thing to replace i think its closer then the experts think

quote:

Ala-- Sabin will out coach Miles

probably will lose this game but i think it will be a good game, probably the gold game fans will be as wild as the florida game last year should be a good game

quote:

it could happen we have had struggles with this team in the past

so I say 9-3 lose to Florida Bama and one other. 8-4 at worse

I just love how so many people on this board have so little confidence in LSU 6-6 is crazy i don't think we will ever be that bad to much talent.

by the way running attack will improve
I think the line will get better
QB can only get better its his third year under the system
D will get better chavis is a good coach with time we will be a top notch D again.

I don't think this team is near Title contender yet but we are better then 6-6

That's a very high probability. Whats really sad is that people are even discussing that, It use to be the only team I was ever worried about was Fla
