Also Dr. James Andrews, LSU polevaulter. Arguably the best and most famous sports orthopedic surgeon in the country. Some of his clients

and as far as I know he (Shaq) has never been an embarrassment to the university.

His trip to the Torrey Pines trailer park wearing a ski mask on a raid w/ the Sheriffs, pretending to be a narc cop was pretty embarrassing...I lost a lot of respect for him then.

Glen Davis has come a long way. Considering he didn't have stable parenting during his formative years (up to age 14). Nor did he have any strong male figures in his life until he went to high school.

He seems to be doing things for the community youth with his foundation.

Nobody has mentioned Alan Faneca.
He was a NINE time pro bowler.
With epilepsy.
He's done a lot to help raising awareness and money about that condition and has helped others. He's a class act from all I hear.

Dr. Eddy Furniss is my moms Dr. in Nacogdoches, TX. The first visit she was looking at the pics of him playing baseball in the office and she told him that she had seen him play many times (We have season tickets).

This was right after the new box opened and he whipped out his phone and started showing her pictures of the new box for 30 minutes.

I like Jacob Hester a lot, too.
But I am surprised that he shows up in this discussion.
What are Jacob's personal accomplishments after graduation that puts in the comapny of Shaq, Faneca, Toms, and Andrews?

No idea. I'm sure he's a great guy and all, but there have to be hundreds of athletes who have accomplished more after LSU than him.
