re: What is your number one reason for hating Ole Miss?

I pulled this from another post i did earlier this week. There are so many reasons to hate Old Piss. There are also so many reasons to feel so sorry for them. They are so weak and pathetic.

The "Walk of Champions". They have never been champions in anything. THey are so desperate to feel accomplished, that they hang banners for being West champions....though they have never been to ATL. They are also the only team in MS to have never been to Omaha....Even USM has been to Omaha.
MSU and OM are the two lowest rated academic schools in the SEC. The education there is equal to every other public school in the state...including the JC's. Yet they want you to think they are a good academic school.

When their football team is losing you can’t find an Ole Miss fan, but when they’re winning you can’t find one who isn’t looking down his nose at you and chanting Hotty Totty.

I live in New Orleans and have several neighbors that are Ole Miss fans. We get along great and I enjoy hanging out with them....we just don't talk about football. They are really pathetic and want to believe they are relevant. When they beat LSU 2 years ago, they couldn't wait to rub it in and talked about it for months. Last year when we beat them, I said nothing to them about it. When this year started, they had this delusional image that they will be competitive and were so hyped to make all these road trips and talked about coming with me to Oxford to see LSU lose.
Now to reality....They have not made an Ole Miss game in months and are not going to the game this weekend. THey don't want to acknowledge that there is even a game this week. They act like there are other things absorbing their time.
Fact is that they are pathetic fans. They have penis envy for LSU that is greater than USL. They are not relevant and will never be relevant. They sneak up on LSU and win every once in while, but they never parlay it into anything.
As Trev Alberts once said..."every litter of pigs has a runt and no matter how hard you try to feed them or help them, they will still be the runt. Ole Miss is the Runt of the SEC and they always will be."
The Black Bears are pathetic on so many levels. THey are too ignorant and stupid to realize how irrelevant they are. Their image is fabricated in their own mind and their football team is putrid.

Because they are the ONLY fanbase I have ever come across that acts as though they are superior to everyone else without having even ONE valid reason to feel that way.

1. They think they invented tailgating but the Grove is the most overrated experience in college football.
2. The Old Mrs "accent." Sounds like hick/redneck/valley girl all wrapped up. Guys have it as bad as girls, making it even worse.
3. They call themselves "the Harvard of the South." Ummmmm..... really? I'm sure Harvard is pleased.
4. They put on airs like they're manhattanites, despite that they live in freakin MISSISSIPPI where they rank lower than Louisiana in just about every negative poll done about the U.S.
5. They tout their "class" but in the 5-6 trips I've made to oxford, I've heard more vulgarities, had more shite thrown at me, and in general been treated worse than any other road trip I've been on. Will never go back.
6. "hotty toddy" is the ghey. worse than "hullabaloo," and that's saying a lot.
7. They are bow tie wearing pom-pom shakers. Self-explanatory.
8. They are white trash in white linen eating wal-mart finger sandwiches off of china platters. They think this makes them cool and unique, and can't see it for how ridiculous it really is.

They are pathetic, irrelevant, delusional runts, and every single person I know that went to school there is a huge arsehole. We can't run up the score high enough for my taste this weekend. Is my hatred coming through???

If you live and work in North Mississippi, you have to put up with the delusions and selective memories of Ole Myth fans. I love years when they lose to LSU and State. The peace and quiet is beautiful.
