Like what would they have to do in the month leading up to the BCS bowls to stand a chance?

Same way WVU did, with some semblance of a running game. All have the Qb's to do it. Not sure how their running games would do.

Okie St. matches up the best. Our offense isn't built to score rapidly for an entire game. I think they have the best offense in the nation. I could see them throwing on us much like WVU except in the redzone having much more success because of jump balls to Blackmon. And Blackmon is a fricking freak of nature.

He would be the best player on the field without a doubt. What a freak

If LSU can keep him off the field, it wouldn't be an issue I'm pretty sure that both of their starting DTs are about 280 lbs.. and they run a more traditional 4-3 defense. They have NO depth at DT and thats why we would beat them.

Except for the half of the time they're on D. Wing might not get to play.

Combine their teams and play us at the same time.

I think Stanford has the same style as Bama, but with a much worse defense (though good) and running game and the best QB college football has seen in a decade.

We would shut down their running game and lockdown their receivers, so I'm not sure Luck could do it on his own.

If we scored 24 on their D, we'd win no duobt IMO.

Okie St is giving up nearly 200 yards per game rushing

Their defense, outside the ability to get turnovers is awful. I think Oregon is better. Stanford probably matches up best. Their defense isn't awesome, but it's better than Okie Light. Actually much much better.

Against any of those teams we take away their run game, they move the ball through the air but give a a couple of interceptions and some sacks. On offense we pound them until they overcommit then throw deep against single coverage. This used to be standard procedure for all NFL teams when I was a lad (70's). Tigers have made it an art form this year.

Just checked the stats, their defense is ranked 110th. Pathetic.

yeah we would score 35 against Okie St probably, but I think they could score a good bit on us as well. They throw the ball better than WVU does and have a much better redzone threat in Blackmon.

Stanford we would lock down those average WR's and shut down their average RB's. Luck can't win all by himself.

This. I wouldn't want to be the DB assigned to cover him in the National Championship game.

It doesn't matter. Have you heard the experts? LSU/BAMA are actually not THAT good. Didn't you see our offenses Sat? The best football games are like OKst v Kst 52-45. Those are good teams!

35? Have you watched their defense? We'd run for 250+ yards on them easily. I think the score of an LSU/OSU game would be 45-28.

Blackmon has twice that I've seen this year fumble the ball inside the 5 yard line when about to score completely unforced. He's a great receiver, but he has ball carrying issues that people like TM7 can take advantage of.
