Hours after LSU athletic administrators began down the path of firing Kelly, Landry gathered board members, donors and select university administrators at the Louisiana governor’s mansion to formally authorize the firing of Kelly. Stop. Woodward only gave the initial Jimbo contract which everyone at Aggieland was ecstatic about. He didn’t do the contract alone and he didn’t give the dumb extension. But guess what? It takes a big contract to lure a NC winning coach from a major program like FSU. And it’d take an even bigger one to lure Kiffen.
