His injury really set him back and slowed him down and he wasn’t very athletic to begin with.

That’s a little strong, he can’t get good if he doesn’t get carries. He averages more ypc than any RB we have. Let’s get the dude right with grades or whatever it is and see what he can do with the experience he’s gained.
There has to be a reason he won the starting job in camp.
Btw , whoever said Thomas was a whiff by o is dumb . He was a 5 star lineman man. Every coach in the nation is gonna offer. 5 star lineman. He had offers from every school that thought they may be able to get him.
It’s nobody’s fault but him for being out of shape and fat. At this point , you have to try guys out though. Next week is a great time to play every lineman and then grade them out, then you may have some different guys that show out
