bullshite. The way the offesne played against Auburn, they probably could've beaten us with Caudle.

bullshite. Our defense lost that game.

Arky didn't win b/c of Hatcher

You're right. They won because of Hatcher AND Lonergan.

10 wins is great, its the way we got them is puzzling and disappointing

This team is 3 lucky bounces from being 7-5.

#1 UNC - that was PI on the last play. That could've easily been called and we would've watched as their running back trucked it in for the win.

#2 Tenn - If the number of men on the field is correct, we lose.

#3 UF - How many times will that bounce perfectly into Jasper's hands?

Thank goodness for this luck. If not, the poor offense would've cost us 5 losses.

I'm happy as can be about a 10 win season, but this could easily bounce the other way like it did in 2008. Hell, we got lucky in 2009 too. Does Miss. State ring a bell?

Don't be such a fu cking idiot with your stupid what ifs. You can look at any game anytime and play that shite. You act like the other teams don't have unusual or lucky plays that work against LSU.
e.g. What if two LSU defensive back don't knock each other down on that pass play? And what if the punt doesn't hit the guy wire for the camera and what if the ball doesn't give Arky a lucky bounce on the punt and hit an LSU player.

No you aren't. You were hoping for more losses so you could come here and bitch and moan.

10-2 is not mediocre but it doesnt necessarily nean the team played to its potential. After all, theres no denying the offense was horrific. The offense made this 10-2 team tough to watch at times, and it made just about every game close, no matter who the opponent was.

To the folks who think all wins are equal, dont ever fuss about national respect or the human polls.

To the folks who are unhappy with 10-2 bc the team was sloppy, consider how tough the schedule was and enjoy beating Florida, OlePiss, and Bama. There's no perfect college football team.

Dude, the 5th place team in the SEC West won 8 FREAKING games. The West was strong as hell this season, and we went 6-2. It wasn't always pretty, but the results are good, and that should not be debated.

We held serve at home, and lost to two top 10 teams away.

All while playing with a arm tied behind our back (QB).

A mediocre season: 8-5 or 7-6.
A mediocre decade: See Arkansas, MSU, OM,KY,USCe etc.
LSU has had two mediocre seasons out of the last eleven IMO; '02 and '08. Both of those btw, brought on by the sudden loss of the starting QB,(Mauck and RP). With six double-digit win seasons of the past ten, LSU has sustained a respectfully high degree of excellence regardless of what calibre of QB play they've received. Decent coaching and a superior talent-level are the primary reasons for the record being good for so long now. If(and that's a big if) LSU ever gets into the groove of having another string of future pros at QB it's a pretty safe bet they'll contend for more national titles, much less SEC titles. Davey, Mauck, Russell, Flynn/RP gave LSU a better than average chance of winning and winning big over an 8 year period; 3- SEC titles, 5- SECw titles, 2 BCSNC, 4-0 BCS bowls, 6-2 in bowls. I do think now is the time to overhaul the offensive coaching a bit but Miles appears to have everything else in place to make another run such as this. Bottom line; For mediocrity in the SEC, you won't find LSU in that list.
