What is the deal with the Kentucky Batters ...

bumping their chest on a strike like their indicating "My Bad"? I have seen at least 4 batters do this.
I am a little older so don't know if this is some new age crap? Kentucky just seems bush league

It is a mental thing from a motivational speaker. It is telling themselves (and their teammates) they caused the 2 strikes, not the pitcher. It is a physical reminder to stay focused mentally, that they can still control the at bat. As baseball is a game of failure, this is a way to stay positive and confident.
