Vinny Curry from Marshall is expected to be the first DE taken.

If you already have a first round grade, nothing positive, for him personally, can come out of him coming back. Ciron Black is perfect example.
He already has one major knee injury.

He has already suffered a torn ACL, and he is healthy now and playing great. As much as I'd love him to stay, I can understand if he feels the need to go next year.

Big Sam is expected to go in the top half of the first round, you can't get much better than that. Can't blame him at all.

why is everyone laughing at big sam's draft prospecs? i've been saying since the 2nd week or so he was a threat to leave early and people kept freaking out. he's a premier DE, which makes him a premier top-10 candidate

if his 40 is under 4.80, and he's over 6-3.5 and 255, he's looking at top 10 easily (with his production this year)

If you think it's hilarious that Sam might go in the 1st 15 picks, the joke is clearly on your dumbasss.

LSU fans love to push our guys as amazing...unless that means they may go high in the draft. then they're mediocre

this happened just this year with RR also

Sam would need a monster combine to go top 15. He isn't in the radar for top 15 right now. As far as this draft goes it is weak at DE but there are better DE than Same out there still. Quinton Coples will be the first DE drafted no doubt.

Ingram is ahead of Sam too. I was just saying the first DE off the board will be Coples.

why?

can you name me other top DEs coming out as of right now? DE is a premium position

maybe for draft sites, but not in reality

he looks like a DT/DE tweener, which means 3-4 DE or a run-stuffing only 4-3 DE. HE needs a monster combine

i don't know about that

ingram was an amazing college player but he lacks the size for an every down DE. he's probably 6-1, 270

even if he's the 3rd DE taken, that is GOOD money. i wouldn't be shocked to see sam go between 15-18 if he's 3rd DE taken.

if he is the #2 DE taken..

If he is in the top 40 of the draft he should go.

He has already had one collegiate serious injury to overcome.

Regardless of what defense he plays in, I think he's definitely a 4-3 DE fwiw, he will be the first DE taken. But this is a weak draft for defensive ends so it would make sense for Sam to go pro.

he's like 290 lbs

he'll need to put up mario williams-like combine numbers to go really high in a normal year

You said he wasn't even going to play DE in the NFL

what do you think is wrong with big sam's game?

he looks like a prototypical 2-way DE. he had 9 sacks this year, and it's his 3rd year
