Saban recently accused our fan base as having this. I am not a doctor but pretty sure this board proves we have it. (Me included) I think it’s contagious like the flu.

It's something O sycophants bring up any time someone speaks unfavorably about the direction of the program under O

It's what you have when you think Orgeron's going to hire Ensminger.

So I guess it's a fancy way of saying common sense.

it's when people react in extremes to everything, warranted or not, and think the world is over. We're not the only fan base guilty of this but we tend to be louder and have more voices than others

you say this like it's limited to Orgeron. Our fans do this every time Mainieri loses a midweek game in baseball. We did this with Miles for years. We do this every time a LA recruit doesn't sign with LSU. This has never been limited to Ed Orgeron, and the fact that Saban is the one who coined the phrase 15+ years ago should show as much. It's only most recently associated with Orgeron because that's what's happening currently

It is what makes Nick Saban smarter than the rest of us. He nailed it in his first year here. It is when fans and media take every little thing and assume it means the worst. He nailed it. This board over the last month is a textbook illustration of it.

I think it is hereditary. You have a large fan-base growing up in a state with the worst education in the world. The worst roads. The most trash. The most crooked politicians/leaders. An economy that exists solely on the price of a barrel of oil. Louisiana is corrupt and will never change.

This breeds emotional wrecks that can't see positive in anything. Hence, Catastrophe Syndrome. You really can't blame them when you look at the big picture.

Saban’s statement is on target, if LSU would promote someone to OC like Saban is about to do LSU fans would lose it. LOL

If Saban was at LSU and won 5 titles in 9 years I think the fans would trust him if he named the water boy as OC. A person tends to earn that type of trust with that type of resume backing him up.
