We should just abbreviate it and say

No, you may get arrested for impersonating a Gainesville cop.

I've been there twice. Like many of you said, the atmosphere outside the stadium is not the same as LSU. The stadium is a different matter. I have been to most of the other SEC stadiums, and it is BY FAR the worst I have been in. It has been a while (1998), but I remember it being more consistently loud throughout the game. TS does have its lulls through the course of a game. It didn't help that my tickets in one of the LSU sections that last time I went were right next to the UF student section. That really sucked. I'll never go back.

Before the game is pretty sweet. All of the fans I hung out with were really cool and let us hang out with them the whole morning. Once you're in the stadium, it's all about the game. The crowd is really loud when the team comes out of the tunnel and is very loud throughout the game also. The thing the fans do where they sway back in fourth is pretty cool too.

If you love to fight, it is the place to be. Expect to be drawn into a fight entering the stadium, while in the stadium and then trying to leave the stadium. It is 10 times worse if UF is winning the game or wins the game as even the 80 year ladies seem to grow gonads and think it is ok to get in your face with the chomp. My personal opinion is that it is the worst stadium for an opposing fan to visit.

tailgating isn't that great. restrooms on campus are nonexistent, try to charge to use cafeteria bathrooms. great game atmosphere. i recommend drinking at one of the bars pre-game. never been there for a night game... might be different

I had seats next to their student section in 98 and 2002. 98 sucked but 2002 was so sweet. I loved yelling at them as they were leaving early in the 4th quarter.
We're going to beat them.

Heartbeat & Cornholio, if y'all go to the game and Gameday is there, please make a sign that says The Gators are into J&M. Pleeeeease.

played in the band at ulm when we took a pep band to one of the games. a soccer mom ran out next to our bus to do the gator chomp and taunt us, seemed like lots of enthusiasm just for little ol' cupcake money game. they had good crowd participation with their songs, and even though the stadium holds a ton if still feels "closed in"

For some reason the Gator fans think that makes look more cultural since many older Chinese men and women do the same. They just don't realize that it makes them look stupid.

I may have to do this for some reason it seems to be a see with your own eyes experience. Basically what I have discovered thus far is that Florida is the croc capital of the world.

Cool college town, good fans, sorta lame tailgating, very spread out, palm landscaping and mopeds make for a laidback Cali-esque/Coastal college environs. My second favorite SEC town besides Lexington with it's Fridays at Keeneland.

BHG is very loud, more consistent and superior day game noise than LSU, Mr Two Bits gets them going, and cinderblock walls trapping the sound's reverb so close to the field, is an artifical noise aid.

Good luck trying to find a bar pregame that you can get into within 10 blocks of the stadium in any direction. There's no real large parking lots where you can get good group of people together everyone just drives up on the sidewalk off the university streets. Bathrooms are sparse, all ATMs are cleaned out, outrageous lines at every convenient store, and barely any food joints if you aren't bringing your own to grill. The upside is that parking is free and easy along the streets, and the traffic isn't too bad.
