This is a prefect example scenario...That team looked overrated all season but found ways to win. I'm hoping this is LSU 09.

Thanks for telling us what is necessary to justify a ranking. Could you please tell me how Texas has justified theirs?

I guess some people do not want to GET IT.
People are not complaining about the WINS or LOSSES, if/when they come.
We want a "smart", "hard hitting", "hard playing" team to represent LSU....if a team beats our "A" game,
not only "more power to them"
but we can look at ourselves in the mirror and be proud.
THAT'S THE POINT..it is NOT just about Ws and Ls.
so far, we are winning, but looking poorly....
we are not close to bringing our "A" game

I think a win next week could give the momentum LSU needs to beat FLA. Win at UGA and a win vs FLA will follow.

I sure hope the team can improve from previous weeks and look good against UGA, but more importantly IMO is coming away with the win.
There is a lot to be said for finding a way to win week after week. Of course the competition thus far doesn't quite justify giving the team that identity just yet.

Their performance from last year, their returning starters, and their victory over Texas Tech, just to name a few...

I agree that the top-3 have earned their rankings, but no other teams have really earned much, so we need to just keep winning.
