As a die hard LSU fan, I would hope that Miles will do what's right. All 4 of the players that were involved broke team rules for sneaking out in the first place. You program starts getting in trouble when you turn a blind eye toward starters. Look at Ohio State. Programs get in trouble, also, when you place all of your eggs in one basket. Remember Perilloux. So, i would hope Miles will do the right thing. Bench them. Sit them down. I would rather lose with Lee, then win with the likes of Jefferson.

Come on Les....set a different standard!!!

However, we are currently on probation, the SCHOOL (LSU) had to make a statement today about the lawyer being unable to do it pro bono, and now it's on the national media....and you think the cops will risk their careers to sweep this under the rug?

With 4 complaining witnesses and hospital bills, one sustaining serious injuries?

Seriously, join us in reality for a minute. No one wants bad things to happen to the team, but at least be rational about the situation.

I'm not saying it will be swept under the rug, however I don't think they are trying to pull any shite. I don't think this will change anything with the players statement. There is no telling what Fisher has written up for them. I highly doubt that will change.

I'm glad you waited to hear all the facts before making an ignorant statement.

JEEBUS!!

The attorney will be present DURING the questioning and this dude is experienced and GOOD.

He will not allow the players to answer certain questions.

I'm pretty sure they have the right to have the attorney present throughout the whole thing. So I don't know if they can just kick him out.

Everyone knows what was claimed to have happened by those making the accusation.

I feel like I've eaten a brain tumor for breakfast...why is it so hard to understand that, unless this is the first time in fricking history, the truth will likely lie somewhere between the story we've gotten painting LSU players as wilding marauders hellbent on beating service men, and a sweet bunch of student athletes out for a midnight stroll when a rouge Marine jumped them? Is it simply the blindly hatred some have towards the way JJ has played over the years that has made them unable to see this reality?

Neither is anywhere near innocent. I feel both sides will probably get legal action against them in the end. Which is why only one of the "victims" will probably press charges in the end.

Did it ever come out what was broken? I have heard multiple things from vertebrae to ribs. Is there any link to what it really is?

My apologies...really. I read that line as "God man...everyone knows it happened." Not "happens," referring to what the previous poster what talking about.

That being said, my point still stands though not directly to you. there have been plenty of folks here who, despite not having any actual evidence to back up their suggestions, have been vilifying these players since day one. My only interest in even bothering to take part in these discussions is to TRY and point out that, until we actually know something concrete, labeling these guys as "thugs" , etc is simply wrong.

Did anyone say if the police already had video the arrest would have been made by now?

I mean why interview when the camera doesn't lie?

It was posted in one of the threads last night...it was a quote from a Salon.com article I believe where one of the BRPD essentially stated that if they had video evidence which backed up the assertions they'd arrest the players now. Translation: They do not currently have any evidence to back up the accusations, which is why there have been no arrests.

a crowd at 2am in a parking lot. video from another business not the bar. doubt you could even tell much from that. Yes i was there and saw the whole thing, No i wasnt drunk i mean not that drunk but maybe oh well who know what the hell i saw i just wanted to be on tv, maybe get my one min of fame. Truth is nobody here victims or players are totally innocent. somebody obivously provoked someone else to the tipping point. any body check the victims out on google to see if they are all eagle scouts and in the church choir.
smart lawyer lets the cops talk and yes sir no sir answers to the cops. dont give them rope to hang you.
